WebThis information is valid as on 10th July 2024. A group of us did the Peb fort trek near Matheran on 10th July 2024. We were hoping for a moderate trek. However, this trek would be classified as hard – especially in the monsoon. We started from Anandwadi at 11am and finally reached down by 7pm. The treks starts with an easy incline. WebPeb Fort is a small fort near the ranges of Matheran on the northeast side of Panvel at a distance of 3-4 km on the west side of Neral. It is also known as Vikatgad and has an elevation of 2100 feet. The forts and hills in and around Peb Fort are Nakhind, Chanderi, Mahasmal, and Prabalgad.
